There have been a lot of fics I leave kudos on that don't inspire me to comment. Generally if I love a fic enough to comment, I leave a comment & a kudo, but sometimes just a comment, it's more of a 'forgetful' thing than anything else.
Don't worry about it too much. I doubt that authors are cross-referencing and wondering OH MY GOD IF THEY REALLY LOVED MY FIC LIKE THEY SAID THEY DID, THEY WOULD'VE LEFT ME A KUDO TOO, WOULDN'T THEY?!
