And thank you, that is so fascinating! I have definitely seen arguments that worrying about robot rights is ethically questionable while human rights are still far from secure, which I think is extremely fair up to a point. (That point being whenever the first robots with sentience come into existence, which as far as I'm aware hasn't happened yet. If or when that happens, I'm all for caring about multiple issues at once!)
