AO3 question

You know the thing on the AO3 where when you click Next or Previous Chapter on a fic, it doesn't take you to the very top of that page, but instead scrolls down past the tags and other metadata for you? Specifically, the url says #workstyle at the end, and it looks like it takes you to the start of a div element going by that name.

Does anyone happen to know a way to make it not do that? I'm prepared to believe that I'm an outlier adn should not be counted, but I kind of like seeing all that stuff every time I click ahead in a story. It'd be cool if there were a way to opt out.

my first thought was "does this happen with creator style off?" but the answer to that is yes, because it does it on fics of mine that don't have workskins to turn off

it does seem to be a default behavior, like, I think they coded the Next Chapter button to jump to that anchor, instead of using the bare chapter link they send out in email update notifs
